Learn how to sail and explore nature on the Bronx River! During this full-day three-week program, participants will learn the basics of sailing and discover both the rich natural environment of the river in our back yard as well as some of the threats to its long-term health. No sailing or environmental experience is necessary, just an openness to learn!

Safety is the foundation of all our programming. Students will be supervised by US Sailing-certified instructors, and will have life jackets on at all times while on or near the water. All swim abilities are welcome to participate.

Rocking the Boat has a strict set of COVID-19 safety protocols that all staff and participants must follow. All participants must be fully vaccinated, but exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis. Please reach out to us if you are not vaccinated. We will continue to follow guidelines from the CDC and local public health protocols and adjust our programming and safety measures as needed.
