Rocking the Boat uses traditional wooden boatbuilding and on-water maritime and environmental education to help middle and high school age youth develop into empowered and responsible adults. Programs operate year round, during and after school, serving over 1,500 students drawn from a range of New York City public schools and communities, the majority being in the South Bronx.
