4 Train to Mount Eden Avenue.
Walk down staircase onto Jerome Avenue Make left on Mount Eden Avenue
Walk one block to Townsend Avenue and make left
Walk one block to 174th Street and make right
Walk half a block, Rocking the Boat is on the right
D train to 174th-175th Street.
Take downtown end of train and exit DOWN stairs at the "174th street underpass/Selwyn Ave" exit
Exit station into 174th street underpass and make right
Walk one block west on 174th, across Walton Avenue
Shop is on the left
By Car
Take Cross Bronx Expressway to Exit 2A Jerome Avenue
From Southbound Cross Bronx (from points north and east)
Take Exit 2A
Make left out of exit on Jerome Avenue and make first right on 174th Street
Go East one and a half blocks
Shop is on right, between Walton and Townsend
From Northbound Cross Bronx (from points south and west)
Take Exit 2A
Bear left at exit and make left on Jerome Avenue
Take first Right on 174th Street
Go East one and a half blocks
Shop is on right, between Walton and Townsend
Rocking the Boat's Bronx River Site
At the intersection of Lafayette Ave. and Edgewater Road, Bronx, NY
(Adjacent to Hunts Point Riverside Park)
By Subway:
Take #6 Train to Hunts Point Avenue.
Walk on Hunts Point Avenue and cross under Bruckner Expressway
Make third left on Lafayette Avenue
Follow Lafayette Avenue down steep hill to Edgewater Road.
Cross Edgewater Road (very carefully!) and walk over train tracks, through parking lot toward park.
The Point CDC/Rocking the Boat Bronx River Site is just to the left of the park.
Enter through grey door.
By Car:
From Manhattan
Take Willis Avenue Bridge to Bruckner Boulevard
Make right on Bruckner Boulevard bearing left under tunnel.
Follow Bruckner Boulevard north, staying to right side of road divider.
Drive for about a mile and make right on Lafayette Avenue.
Take Lafayette up hill, across Hunts Point Avenue, and down hill.
Cross Edgewater Road and enter parking lot for Hunts Point Riverside Park.
The Point CDC/Rocking the Boat Bronx River Site is just to the left of the park.
Enter through grey door.
From 95 Northbound
Take Exit 4A Sheridan Expressway
Get off at first exit Westchester Avenue.
Drive strait off exit, cross Westchester, onto Whitlock Avenue.
Follow Whitlock until it merges with Bruckner Boulevard.
Immediately bear all the way to the left lane of Bruckner Boulevard.
Cross Hunts Point Avenue and make next left on Baretto Street.
Take second left on Lafayette Avenue.
Take Lafayette across Hunts Point Avenue, and down hill.
Cross Edgewater Road and enter parking lot for Hunts Point Riverside Park.
The Point CDC/Rocking the Boat Bronx River Site is just to the left of the park.
Enter through grey door.
From 95 Southbound
Take I-278 West/Bruckner Expressway via Exit 6B toward Triboro Bridge
Take the Bronx River Ave. exit toward Hunts Point Market/Hunts Point Ave.
Follow service road over Bronx River Bridge until it becomes Bruckner Boulevard.
Cross Hunts Point Avenue and make next left on Baretto Street.
Take second left on Lafayette Avenue.
Take Lafayette across Hunts Point Avenue, and down hill.
Cross Edgewater Road and enter parking lot for Hunts Point Riverside Park.
